The dispenser dispenses a set shot (40) of liquid (4) from a bottle (2). It has a support (1) for the bottle, and a receiver (6) for the shot. A refrigerator (14) cools the shot, by spraying a refrigerated gas jet (16) towards either the receiver, to cool the dispensed liquid or the glass (9) to produce a frosting effect on the inside of the glass.
