Function carrier (8) made of aluminum diecasting alloy is heat treated section-wise and cooled with air. An Independent claim is also included for a process for the production of the function carrier comprising producing a green body of the function carrier by diecasting, and heat treating the green body by annealing and subsequently cooling with air.
