PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating type bridge capable of greatly reducing a construction cost or a construction period of time and sufficiently coping with also ground variations. SOLUTION: A floating type bridge is equipped with water tanks 5 arranged at erecting positions of piers 2, buoyancy bodies 1 provided at the lower parts of the piers 2 and inserted into the water tanks 5 and a connection pipe 7 between the water tanks 5. Vertical and horizontal mooring devices 6a and 6b are provided between each water tank 5 and the buoyancy body 1. A water level detector and a water level adjusting mechanism for adjusting the water level in each of the water tanks 5 based on detected value of the water level detector. By the constitution, the construction of a foundation structure is not required, and a construction period of time and a construction cost can be greatly reduced. Since the water level in each of the water tanks 5 is always kept in the same level, force acting on the bridge can be controlled, and bad influence on a bridge main body can be prevented. Horizontal force such as wind load or the like acting on superstructure work can be borne by the vertical and horizontal mooring devices, and overturning moment occurring in the bridge can be controlled.
