PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen a loss water head to collect refuse so as to be disposed without using power by arranging to incline a side part screen to a water passage so as to introduce a part of water flow together with refuse to a crusher. SOLUTION: A side part screen 23 is arranged to be inclined to a side wall 10c, and a plurality of cross section V-shaped channel members 24 are horizontally spacedly arranged at a vertical prescribed interval so that the groove is directed to the upstream side of a water passage. Next, water flowing in an area corresponding to the width W1 of a crusher 22 flows directly in the crusher 22, a greater part of water flowing in an area corresponding to a screen 23 flows to the downstream side in a gap between the members 24, the whole amount of water of the water passage 10 does not flow in the crusher 22, and a loss water head appearing as an upstream side head and a downstream side head is reduced. Next, refuse G larger than the gap of the member 24 is engaged with the member 24, collected on the crusher 22 by being carried on water flow flowing toward the crusher 22 along the groove, and refuse G is disposed to be collected without using power.
