PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent of lateral stripes due to a signal output difference between GREEN pixels caused by an effect of adjacent pixels onto the GREEN pixels. SOLUTION: The arrangement of a primary color filter is selected so that the combination of pixels at coordinates (l-1, m) and (l+1, m) and the combination of pixels at coordinates (l, m-1) and (l, m+1) around the coordinate (l, m) of an optical GREEN pixel are combinations of RED and BLUE pixels, pixels of all coordinates of (n-1, o), (n+1, o), (n, o-1), (n, o+1) around the coordinate (n, o) of an optional RED pixel gives a GREEN pixel, and pixels of all coordinates of (p-1, q), (p+1, q), (p, q-1), (p, q+1) around the coordinate (p, q) of an optional BLUE pixel gives a GREEN pixel.
