PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collecting device for sludge or the like by which fouled sewage can be securely separated from sludge or the like collected into a tank. SOLUTION: Sludge or the like is collected into a tank 1 by a negative pressure and fouled sewage is discharged from the tank 1 by a pressurized state. The tank 1 is divided into a sludge chamber 1a and a fouled sewage chamber 1b by a partition wall 4. Fouled sewage included in sludge or the like is held in the fouled sewage chamber 1b to be discharged. The partition wall 4 is provided with a plurality of openings 4b and the fouled sewage can be securely separated into the fouled sewage chamber 1b. Respective openings 4b are formed to widen the distance of the inside face as it goes to the fouled sewage chamber 1b side to prevent clogging of the sludge or the like and securely separate the sewage. The swingable wall 4a of the partition wall 4 swings to the sludge chamber 1a side in accordance with the inclination of the tank 1 to promote discharge of the sludge or the like.
