PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sphered high bulk density granular detergent by subjecting detergent granules to a grinding treatment in a specific condition, a treatment using a sieve or an air transportation treatment. SOLUTION: This method for producing the bulk density granular detergent comprises applying at least one sphering treatment method selected from the following treatments (a), (b) and (c) to detergent granules to sphere the detergent granules: (a) the detergent granules are sphered with a grinding machine having a grinding rotator having a circumferential rate of 25-50 m/s; (b) the detergent granules are sphered with a sieve at a shaking rate of 60-3,000 shakes/min; and (c) the detergent granules are sphered by the transportation of air in a condition under a condition of a fluid number of 8-30.
