PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adhesive containing no chlorine generating a noxious gas to an environment on burning it, and also exhibiting an excellent adhesive property to various material to be adhered. SOLUTION: This adhesive contains 100 pts.wt. (A) 20-90 wt.% epoxy-modified block copolymer obtained by epoxidizing a block copolymer consisting of a polymer block containing mainly a monomer unit based on a vinylaromatic compound with a polymer block containing mainly a monomer unit based on a conjugated diene compound and (B) 10-80 wt.% adhesiveness-imparting agent (the total of the components A and B is 100 wt.%), (C) <=10 pt.wt. oil or plasticizer compatible or dissolvable with the epoxy-modified block copolymer (A) as necessary and (D) 50-2,000 pt.wt. solvent capable of dissolving the epoxy- modified block copolymer (A) and/or adhesiveness-imparting agent (B).
