PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a cement reinforcing fiber capable of greatly improving the appearance and coatability, or the like, of a cement molded product as a polyolefin fiber having a sinkable property in water and excellent in binding property for cement. SOLUTION: This cement reinforcing fiber is composed of stable fibers obtained by cutting a prescribed length of a chained yarn-like tape 3 in which a filament 2 obtained by melt extruding a polyolefin resin containing inorganic particles from a chained yarn-like die in which nozzle holes are connected or neighbored and subjecting the extrude longitudinally uniaxial drawing is individually and separably connected.
