PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animal repelling paint for making it possible to retain preferably a sanitation state of a human residence environment by mixing to a paint an animal repellant which genetates smell having a repelling effect to an animal. SOLUTION: An animal repelling paint 20 is obtained by compounding per 100 pts.wt. of a synthetic resin paint, an animal repellant of 0.1-5 pts.wt., generating smell having a repelling effect to an animal, at least one or two selected from the group consisting of a wood vinegar liquid, a bamboo vinegar liquid, capsaicin, limonene, a pungency component of mustard or horseradish, disodium benzoate, a lemongrass oil, and creosote. On the surface of a product 10a, letters 11 and a pattern like a belt are printed with the animal repelling paint 20 by showing gather of dots. As a result, there are advantages in a little poison, safety to human being, the animal such as a dog, a cat, a rat, a bird and the like scarcely approching to the product, and improving a sanitation state of a gathering place of a garbage bag and a food vessel and its neighborhood.
