PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming method of a phosphor screen for a CRT, capable of realizing easy and simple manufacture and capable of reducing manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: A black matrix 2 with opening parts 2a is formed on a glass substrate 1. A phosphor paste including phosphors for R, G, B is discharged into the opening parts of the black matrix 2 by using a phosphor paste layer forming device 10 with a nozzle 10a. Then a phosphor screen for a CRT is formed by removing elements other than the phosphors from the phosphor paste 9.
