PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain piezoelectric resonance component provided with a structure, where adhesive between a piezoelectric substrate and a case substrate hardly peels off, even when there is thermal expansion of air in a cavity. SOLUTION: In a piezoelectric resonance part, first and second oscillation electrodes 6 and 7 are so formed that they face each other with a piezoelectric substrate 5 interposed between them, and then an energy containment piezoelectric oscillation part is constituted, first and second case substrates 3 and 4 are stuck to both faces of a piezoelectric element 2, where the oscillation electrode 6 is connected to a terminal electrode 9 by extraction electrodes 8a and 8b, with adhesive layers 12 and 13 between them, and a recessed part 9a is formed at the edge of the piezoelectric oscillation part of the terminal electrode 9. Thereby the piezoelectric substrate 5 of the piezoelectric element 2 and the case substrate 3 are adhered directly via the adhesive layer 12 between them on the outside of a cavity 11 shown by a circle 8.
