PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyacetal resin provided combinedly with melt tension, draw down property, and flowability by polymerizing trioxane with a cyclic ether and/or a cyclic formal, a monofunctional glycidyl compound, and a polyfunctional glycidyl compound. SOLUTION: This resin is obtained by polymerizing 100 pts.wt. trioxane, 0-20 pts.wt. cyclic ether selected from among ethylene oxide, 1,3dioxolane, diethylene glycol formal, 1,4-butanediol formal, etc., and/or a cyclic formal, 0.001-10 pts.wt. monofunctional glycidyl compound such as phenyl glycidyl ether, cresyl glycidyl ether, or phenyl phenol glycidyl ether, and 0.0005-1 pt.wt. polyufunctional glycidyl compound selected from among a diglycidyl ether compound, atriglycidyl ether compound, and a tetraglycidyl ether compound. The resin is excellent in moldability and can give a molding excellent in impact resistance and the smoothness of an inside surface.
