PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode-ray tube and display device capable of suppressing distortion of the screen originating from electrostatic charging on a junction member and reducing the discharge current which flows into an electron gun from a getter supporting structure. SOLUTION: A cathode-ray tube includes a getter spring 13 as a getter supporting structure equipped with a first metal plate 11 fixed to an electron gun, a second metal plate 12 to hold a getter material 19, and a junction member 13 having resistivity whereto the first 11 and second metal plates 12 are coupled, wherein the junction member 13 is arranged so that the distance between the two metal plates 11 and 12 as creeping on the surface of the member 13 is made longer than the straight distance L between the plates 11 and 12.
