PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a bearing wall structure having a venting layer arranged therein, by forming a projective portion on a surface of each external member of which the surface is brought into contact with a frame member, and bringing the projective portion into contact with the frame member, to thereby connect each external member to the frame member. SOLUTION: A projective portion 110a is formed on a surface of each external member 11a of which the surface comes into contact with a frame member 14a, and the external member 11a having a venting space 10a arranged therein, is formed of a noncombustible material with its surface subjected to waterproof treatment. A non-woven fabric 16 is laid on an external surface of the venting space 10a of the external member 11a, which makes contact with the frame member 14a. Then, both the external members 11a are fixed to an abutting portion of the frame member 14a by means of nails 15, an adherent, or the like. Gap spaces each formed in the interior of framing by the frame member 14a are filled with heat insulating materials 13, to thereby form a heat insulating layer. Further, a face 12 formed of a plaster board, a plywood, or the like, is fixed to a side surface of the frame member 14a by means of nails, screws, an adhesive, or the like. Thus, a load-bearing wall structure having a venting layer arranged therein, can be formed.
