The conveyor table has rollers (4, 4', 4) rotated about axes parallel to the table surface by drives (5, 5', 5) at its two ends, other rollers (8A, 8B) at the sides of the table, and a series of omnidirectional rollers (9) in cages between. The omnidirectional rollers are mounted on oblique spindles (29) and located in four zones (21 - 24) on either side of the table's lengthwise (L) and transverse (T) median planes. The roller spindles in each zone lie parallel to one another, while those in adjacent zones are perpendicular.
