PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a communication period from being wasted by transmitting emergency information between base stations.SOLUTION: A communication system comprises a first base station 2A and a second base station 2B. The first base station 2A is able to transmit first information destined for a mobile station in a first communication period, and also is able to transmit second information destined for the second base station 2B in a second communication period. The first information includes application data and identification information. The identification information is information indicating whether the application data is emergency information or not. The first base station 2A is able to transmit emergency information and identification information as the first information destined for the mobile station in the first communication period. The second base station 2B comprises a destroying unit L7 for destroying the received application data. The destroying unit L7 determines whether the application data included in the first information is emergency information or not on the basis of the identification information and destroys the application data if it is not emergency information. |
