PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beam reinforcement member capable of enhancing the shear capacity in a joint part panel between an existing beam and a newly provided stud when additionally installing the stud in an existing steel-structured building, and an installation structure of the stud in an existing building by using the beam reinforcement member.SOLUTION: A reinforcement member 20 is provided on a joint panel between a stud 14 and a steel-made beam 12 on which the stud 14 is additionally installed. The reinforcement member 20 includes: a steel plate formed to have a height dimension between upper and lower flanges 12a, 12b, formed to have a width dimension equal to or larger than a height W of the stud 14, and arranged along outer edges of the upper and lower flanges; and a rib steel plate arranged vertically on the steel plate and joined to the steel plate. The steel plates are provided respectively on both sides of the beam 12 between which a web is held. |
