PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the execution of an incineration treatment by forming a sheer- like signboard surface body of a water resistant sheer mainly composed of paper and forming pole bodies of water resistant paper tubes formed by helically or cylindrically winding base paper mainly composed of the paper. SOLUTION: This signboard comprises the sheet-like signboard surface body 1 which is printed and displayed with information for transmission, such as characters and designs for public announcement and propaganda, on a front surface or both front and rear surfaces and the hollow cylindrical pole bodies 3 holding the end 2 of the signboard surface body 1. The signboard surface is formed of the water resistant sheer mainly composed of the paper. The cylindrical pole bodies 3 are formed of the water resistant paper tubes formed by helically or cylindrically winding the case paper mainly composed of the paper. Namely, the signboard surface body 1 is formed of the water resistant sheer mainly composed of the paper or nonwoven fabric. The hollow cylindrical pole bodies 3 are formed of the water resistant paper tubes formed by helically or cylindrically winding the base paper mainly composed of the paper. The outside surface or inside and outside surfaces of these paper tubes are impregnated or laminated with resin or resin films, by which water resistance is imparted thereto.
