PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the repair construction method for a batten-seam roof, by which the design of a batten seam and the shape of the batten seam in an existing batten-seam roof are held and the repairing work is simplified and which has a stable waterproofing function for a prolonged term, and its structure. SOLUTION: Both sides of waterproofing sheets A are bent and bottom plate sections 1 laid among adjacent batten-seam sections B and upstanding joining sections 2, 3 are formed previously on both sides of the bottom plate sections, each batten seam section is covered with approximately portal type resin-coated steel plates C and the steel plates are fixed, the upstanding joining sections 2 formed on one sides of the waterproofing sheets are joined with the resin-coated steel plates, the upstanding joining sections 3 formed on the other sides of adjacent other waterproofing sheets A in the batten seam sections are joined, the bottom plate sections of each waterproofing sheet are fixed onto a foundation E, upstanding joining sections are formed previously to the bottom plate sections and both sides of the bottom plate sections, the upstanding joining sections of the adjacent waterproofing sheets are abutted and joined on the top faces of the resin-coated steel plates, and band sheets D for joining are cemented with the top faces of the upstanding joining sections of the waterproofing sheets.
