PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory access method and a device capable of securely holding and updating the storage data of a flash ROM or the like. SOLUTION: In this memory access device interposed between a CPU 101 and a data rewritable nonvolatile memory 12 for operating the execution control of a command concerned with various memory access from the CPU 101, the command concerned with the memory access from the CPU 101 is analyzed, and a state signal concerned with the execution control of the corresponding memory access and the control signal of the memory access corresponding to the state signal are generated based on the analyzed command, and the real operating state of the memory 12 is monitored, and the state signal is sequentially changed, and the state of the completion of the memory access is imported to the CPU 101 based on the final change of the state signal.
