PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To seal up cartridge insertion slot after a disk cartridge is loaded. SOLUTION: This mechanism is equipped with a door opening operation means 231 which pushes and opens an opening and closing door 217 against an energizing means 224 with the disk cartridge inserted from the cartridge insertion slot 47 and opens the opening and closing door 217 against the energizing means 224 when the disk cartridge is ejected and a door closing operation means 232 which seals the cartridge insertion slot 47 by closing the opening and closing door 217 by the energizing means when the loading of the disk cartridge in the drive by a cartridge loading mechanism 58 has been completed.
