PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a slide fastener which has a wider application than a fastener of single color and is fashionable. SOLUTION: By effecting printing under such conditions that the surfaces of teeth of fastener materials, mating with each other, are made substantially coplanar with a cloth tape part, printed patterns are formed on a cloth part so as to be slightly longitudinally spaced apart from a row of the teeth excluding the row of the teeth on opposed side surfaces of the fastener.
