PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a communication inconvenience by clearly defining a communication procedure after the transmission/reception of an FNV command which is newly advised to an ITU-T advice T.30. SOLUTION: Facsimile equipment 100 has a notice means giving a notice to urge a user to execute communication when a response to an option signal transmitted to an incoming station is judged to be the FNV command.
