SLUDGE SCRAPER

PURPOSE: A sludge scraper with no submerged drive part in wastewater is provided to prevent the abrasion or corrosion of a drive part caused by the contact with sewage containing sludge or the like, slightly floating a scraper without bringing the same into direct contact with the bottom of a tank to move the same to reduce the abrasion of the scraper and reducing the power loss to enhance the durability and energy efficiency. CONSTITUTION: In the sludge scraper consisting of a sludge scraping-up device(4) arranged so as to be reciprocally moved along the tank bottom(11) of a sewage treatment tank(1) to scrape up sludge and a drive device(5) arranged above the surface of the water to support the sludge scraping-up device(4) in a suspended state to reciprocally move the same, the front part(41A) of the sludge scraping-up device(4) is supported in a suspended state so as to scrape up sludge when the sludge scraping-up device(4) is forwardly moved in a sludge scraping-up direction by the drive device(5) and the rear part(41B) thereof is supported in a suspended state in a shakable manner so as to follow the driving of the front part(41A) and the scraper(42) of the sludge scraper device(4) is reciprocally moved without being brought into contact with the tank bottom(11) to scrape up sludge.
