PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve the problem of a conventional display device in which scrolling of one window is made possible however, no scrolling can be made for plural windows while plural windows are displayed on the monitor because a video memory and a CPU are not configured to handle plural windows. SOLUTION: The memory region of a video memory 11 is divided into the number of regions corresponding to the number of the windows in order to store image data to be displayed on each window. When a scrol instruction is received for each window, the image data to be additionally displayed on the window in accordance with the scrol are written into the memory 11 and a memory region, in which the image data to be displayed on each window are stored, is specified.
