PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an accurate, small-sized and inexpensive variable-area flowmeter having a sensor. SOLUTION: A float 33 moved in the vertical directions by a flow amount is provided in a light pervious taper pipe 32 and a fluid to be measured flows in the taper pipe 32 from the inflow port 34 provided to the lower part of the taper pipe 32 to flow toward an upper inflow port 35. A plurality of image sensor units 38, each constituted of an optical lens 36 and an image sensor 37, are arranged along the single side of the taper pipe 32 in the vertical directions.
