PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable radiant heating equipment to uniformly heat its wide radiant surface to a high temperature. SOLUTION: Since this heating equipment is provided with an air heating means 21 which generates high-temperature air, radiant body 28 which generates radiant energy upon being heated by the hot-temperature air, radiant body heating air course 25 which leads the high-temperature air to the radiant body 28, the entrance 26 of the radiant body heating air course below the air course 25, and high-temperature air scattering means 27 in the air course 25 so as to scatter the high-temperature air by means of the scattering means 27, the radiant body 28 can be nearly uniformly heated to a high temperature by supplying the high-temperature air to the radiant body 28 in such a way that the high-temperature air is nearly uniformly scattered without exerting any influence upon other performance, such as incomplete combustion, etc.
