PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproducing device which is capable of effectively assuring arrangement regions for a display section, operation key, etc. SOLUTION: A revolving shaft 31 is a center for turning of a lid member 30. An arm member 32 is fastened to the revolving shaft 31 and moves arcuately cooperatively with the turning of the lid member 30. Both ends of a tension coil spring 33 engage the arm member 32 and a sheet metal member 34 and the spring turns and energizes the lid member 30 by the energizing force directed toward a prescribed direction via the arm member 32. When the lid member 30 turns, the arm member 32 moves arcuately (downwardly and semicircularly) and therefore the need for a prescribed space in the upper part of the lid member 30 is eliminated.
