PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hemming tape which is suitable for hemming the bottom of an elastic outer wear such as slacks and a skirt. SOLUTION: The tape comprises a low melting point of a hot melt type adhesive agent 2 coated in a mesh pattern on the one surface of a flexible tricot tape body 1. The tape body 1 is heated by an iron to melt the adhesive agent 2, which then adheres both the hemmed bottom and the body of the outer wear so that the tape body 1 may extend over them, effecting in fixing the hemmed bottom and making the outer wear flexible with the aid of the tape body 1.
