PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in the conventional connection method for a conventional ISDN user/network interface for interconnecting a basic interface that a primary group speed interface requires an ISDN switch to connect an ISDN terminal, having the basic interface in compliance with the ITU-T recommendations I.430 to a primary group speed interface S/T terminal in compliance with the ITU-T recommendations I.431. SOLUTION: An I.431 S/T terminal 1 which is the primary group speed interface side S/T terminal, in compliance with the ITU-T recommendations I.431, is connected to I.430 S/T terminals 4-1 to 4-N being the basic interface side S/Y terminals in compliance with the ITS-T recommendations I.430 directly via only an S/T terminal extension system configuration, consisting of a time division multiplexing(TDM) device 2 and time division multiplexing(TDM) devices 3-1 to 3-N, without the need for providing an ISDN switch, in the case of connection between the basic interface and the primary group speed interface in the ISDN user/network interface.
