PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily, simply and speedily house a long connect code when not using the earphone microphone of a portable telephone, a PHS or the like, to prevent the occurrence of the factor of disconnection, to take out the long cord of the earphone or to mount the earphone onto the ear easily and speedily without taking out the portable telephone or PHS (R) and further to prevent the cause of noise. SOLUTION: This earphone/microphone is provided with a long first cord electrically connecting the earphone and the microphone to one terminal and connecting a connecting terminal for connection to the other terminal, and a second cord having an internal connecting terminal connected to the connecting terminal of the first cord while connecting a cord winder capable of winding and drawing the first cord from the other terminal side and a connecting plug capable of connecting one terminal to the internal connecting terminal inside the cord winder and inserting the other terminal to the earphone/ microphone terminal of information terminal equipment.
