PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a resin molded item which can easily narrow a width of a slit cut in a tip edge of an extending piece. SOLUTION: A method for making a slit having a width corresponding to a thickness of a film 25 in an extending piece 7 comprises arranging the film 25 within a cavity of a mold 21, injecting a resin having a melting point lower than that of the film 25 into the cavity and removing the film 25 from a fixing means 1 after solidification of the resin.
