PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial, intervertebral spacer which rarely comes off and turns around and is fused with bones easily. SOLUTION: An artificial, intervertebral spacer 10, inserted and placed between centrums of a vertebra, has an upper side 11 and a lower side 12 which make contacts with centrums located above and below the spacer and plural cone-shaped protrusions 13 on both upper and lower sides. A tip side 17 which is inserted first is thick between the upper side and the lower side, and at least a part of the edge found at a place where a tip side 17 inserted first, the upper side 11, and the lower side 12 meet is cut off.
