PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a twisted electric wire, by which the twisted electric wire can be spliced at lower cost and the degree of freedom of a splicing position can be improved. SOLUTION: Electric wires 11 and 12 are prepared, and the electric wires 11 and 12 are laid approximately in parallel, then arbitrary positions of the electric wires 11 and 12 are gripped by holders 13 and 14. After that, portions of the electric wires 11 and 12 other than the portion gripped by the holders 13 and 14 are twisted to manufacture a twisted electric wire 15.
