摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an enclosure material for a speaker system where a high output and its acoustic characteristic are emphasized for applications in a hall and a concert, that attains weight reduction without losing the acoustic characteristic of a wooden material and has fire resistance as a substitute of the wooden material conventionally used. SOLUTION: The speaker enclosure material of this invention is characterized in that it adopts a sandwich structure consisting of a skin layer and a core layer to provide light weight, uses two sandwich panels between which a rubber group material or an acrylic group high polymer resin with an excellent internal loss is inserted. Adding a fire resistant agent to the rubber group material or a foaming agent having a thermal foaming property to the acrylic group high polymer resin used for the intermediate layer can provide the effect of preventing an internal heat or spreading fire in case of fire.
