PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal network controller using one connection terminal in common to which meters of different kinds are connected. SOLUTION: The terminal network controller is provided with an interface section 20 compatible with a 5-bit meter and with an interface section 21 compatible with a 8-bit meter, and relay contacts 24a, 24b of a relay operated by an input signal from an external device are placed between a connection terminal 11 with a meter 5 connected thereto and each of the interface sections 20, 21. Applying power to a relay drive section 25 connected to a control CPU section 8 changes over the relay contacts 24a, 24b so as to interconnect the meter 5 and the control CPU section 8 in a communication enabled way through either of the interface sections 20, 21.
