technology of construction of expressways, equipment for construction of expressways and designs of expressways used as road - doublers of existing automobile urban and country roads intended for intensive automobile traffic. SUBSTANCE: method of construction of expressways is realized by unit ensuring construction of overpass under obstruction conditions without interruption of traffic in existing road over which overpass is located. For which purpose, unit is made in form of mobile, preferably, self-moving tunnel ensuring passage of automobile transport inside tunnel and formed portal located along longitudinal axis road or parallel to it. Portal has upper carrying working surface, side guarding surfaces and wheel and/or caterpillar support mounted in lower part of mechanism for changing height of upper carrying working surface. Height changing mechanism in made in form of pairs of hydraulic cylinders. Upper carrying working surface is made with possibility of mounting above it of framework of expressway, and also with possibility of location, movement and turning in working position on it of process, preferably, self-moving equipment for installation, or assembly of supports and framework of expressway. So, expressway presents overpass located above roadway of existent motor road, and along longitudinal its axis, or parallel to it, or at acute angle to it on some sections. Preferably overpass is covered, formed by framework with roadway made on supports. Offered invention provides for construction of expressway under. Conditions of dense housing system without additional land allocations, interruption of traffic in existing motor road and increased road capacity of automobile road complex.
