PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber board that realizes highly efficient optical branching and coupling between optical fibers wired on a fiber wiring sheet and also to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The fiber board 100 is constituted such that a recess 101a to be an optical branching/coupling part is formed on the fiber wiring sheet 101, with an inputting optical fiber 102 wired in a manner that the end face is situated on the recess 101a, and with optical fibers 103a, 103b wired in a fashion that the end faces are situated on the recess 101a nearly adjacently to each other and roughly faced oppositely to the end face of the optical fiber 102; that a spherical micro lens 105 is arranged in the recess 101a so as to be interposed between the end face of the optical fiber 102 and that of the optical fibers 103a, 103b, fixedly using an optical adhesive 104; and that another wiring sheet is closely stuck onto the wiring sheet 101 in such a way as to cover the optical fibers 102, 103a, 103b and the spherical lens 105, thereby fixedly positioning them.
