PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working method wherein deforming work without any strain is applied on the heat pipe after worked arbitrarily in accordance with the demand of a market in any case. SOLUTION: Bending or flattening deformation work, reduced in strain, is applied on the heat pipe having a length longer than a necessary objective length under a condition that liquid is collected into a part on which the deformation work is to be applied and frozen and, thereafter, the operating liquid is dispersed evenly in the axial direction of the heat pipe, then, the part of the pipe having an unnecessary length is cut off.
