PURPOSE: An engine hood panel hinge assembly of an automobile is provided to minimize injure of passengers by a fastening part absorbing impact energy transmitted to the engine hood panel when the passengers come into collision with an engine hood panel. CONSTITUTION: An engine hood panel hinge assembly of an automobile includes a bracket(30), a hinge arm(23) and an assembly(40). The bracket has a side surface fastened on a car panel and the other side surface having a fastening part(31). The assembly is provided to the fastening part of the bracket and has a connection member(41) on which an end of the hinge arm is rotatably mounted. The fastening part is a cylindrical body(32) having an open part(33) at a lower side and has a stepped jaw formed inside the cylindrical body.
