PURPOSE: A process of preparing an Ulmus parvifolia Jacq. extract by extracting an elm tree(Ulmus parvifolia Jacq.) with elvan is provided. Whereby, the extract is an increased storage stability and taste. CONSTITUTION: A mixture of 3kg roots of Ulmus parvifolia Jacq. and 20L water is poured into a jar(5) and then heated with a charcoal fire(3) and an infrared ray generator(2) such as elvan for 5 to 7 hr. The far infrared ray generator and charcoal are placed at the lower part of the jar.
