PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw fastening mechanism of a simple structure and economically manufacturable, capable of displacing a stopper element along a guide member without using a tool and of fixing the stopper element on the guide member in stages. SOLUTION: This screw fastening device is provided with the fastening mechanism including a housing 1, the guide member 2 capable of displacing relatively to the housing 1, a support member 4 for a magazine 17 carrying screws, and the stopper element 6 capable of displacing relatively to the guide member 2. The stopper element 6 can be displaced relatively to the guide member 2 in stages by giving elasticity on an adjustment element 10 in cooperation with the guide member 2.
