PURPOSE: A bidirectional broadcasting service using short messages is provided to offer a broadcast participation system using SMS so that every viewer can participate in a broadcast at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A viewer(100) has a portable phone capable of transmitting a short message. A base station(200) is connected with an MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(300) through a leased line. The MSC(300) is connected with a billing server that fixes an associated information service charge in case that the viewer(100) transmits a short message for the identifier of a broadcasting program. The viewer's short message transmitted to the MSC(300) through the base station(200) is transferred to an SMS main server(400) through an SMSC(SMS Center)(302). Then the short message transmitted to the SMS main server(400) is processed and accumulated by a data processing server(402) connected with an event server(401) corresponding to the identifier inputted when the viewer transmitted the short message. |
