PURPOSE: Structure for connecting the drive shaft of a vehicle is provided to keep the pleasant environment by restraining the transmission of vibration or shock to the interior of a vehicle by connecting a drive shaft integrated with a side gear with a differential, and to reduce the number of parts and work processes. CONSTITUTION: A side gear(1) is integrated with a drive shaft(3). A differential gear case(104) is rotatably supported on a transmission case(5) via a bearing(7), and a ring gear(106) engaged with the output shaft of a transmission is formed on the outer face of the differential gear case. A pinion gear(110) is supported on a pinion shaft(108). Since the side gear is integrated with the drive shaft, the assembling work is simplified. Further, backlash due to the clearance between the side gear and the drive shaft is avoided. Therefore, the shift shock is prevented.
