PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of taking advantage of a corrugated sipe, adequately to control toppling of a block, and properly to give an edge efficiency because the control effect is difficult to affect by any toppling directions of the block. SOLUTION: On pneumatic tire equipped with a tread pattern having plural block 1 forming at least one sipe, the aforesaid sipe 10 equips the first sipe area 11 where a shape of a cross section is like a wave or zigzag stretching from a block surface to a depth direction and the second sipe area 12 where there are formed a concave area 12a and a convex area 12b placed deeper than the first sipe area 11, and this is characterized by that the aforesaid first sipe area 11 is formed within the limits of 1-3 mm depth from the block surface. |
