PURPOSE: A method for driving a plasma display panel(PDP) is provided, which prevents a mis-writing of the plasma display panel. CONSTITUTION: According to the method for driving the plasma display panel including an address period to select a discharge cell, the first scan pulse is supplied to at least more than one scan/sustain electrode formed at a position where a scanning begins during the address period. And the second scan pulse is supplied to scan/sustain electrodes located at other positions. The first scan pulse has a wider pulse width than the second scan pulse by 50-100%. The first scan pulse is supplied to three scan/sustain electrode lines formed where the scanning begins. |
