PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply increase the yield of a laser reverse Compton light irrespective of whether the operation of a laser is of continuous or pulse type, without needing large scale equipment or complex adjustments. SOLUTION: In a multipath cell, an electron beam is introduced by using a deflection electromagnet 11, and by selecting the curvatures of two concave mirrors 8, 9 in the multipath cell properly, the focal point is set on an electron orbit. By making the incident laser intersect the electron orbit a large number of times, the orbit of an electron beam is made to intersect the laser, and a laser reverse Compton scattered light 10 can be generated.
