PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus capable of performing two-sided printing is provided to construct the apparatus in a module so as to selectively attach or detach a two-sided printing unit to/from a main body of the apparatus. CONSTITUTION: An image forming apparatus capable of performing two-sided printing includes an engine(E) for forming image information on a printing paper, a main body(100) having a printing paper transfer path through which printing papers stacked on a cassette are discharged via the engine, and a two-sided printing unit(200) having a printing paper circulation path through which the printing papers that have passed through the engine are reversed on the printing paper transfer path to enter the engine again. The two-sided printing unit is attached or detached to/from the main body.
