Frozen food can be thawed evenly and quickly by HF wave. In heating of cold stored and room temperature foods, microwave generated by a magnetron 3 is used for heating. At that time, the upper part electrode 5 is moved to the uppermost part of a heating chamber 2 by a rise and fall means 9 for efficient heating.
